Terms of Use

These terms are a working draft and are to be confirmed by legal counsel before production use.

Authorised scanning only

You may only add and scan systems that you own or are explicitly authorised in writing to assess. QShield performs passive, read-only checks (TLS and SSH handshakes and certificate retrieval). It does not exploit, brute-force or change the systems it scans. Every scan is logged with the user who started it.

Accounts

Keep your password and recovery codes confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. Administrators may suspend accounts that misuse the service.

No warranty

QShield's risk scores and roadmaps are guidance based on observed configuration and published standards. They are not a guarantee of security and do not replace a professional assessment.
